Ingredients
- 6 pork chops (thick)
- 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 2 medium baking apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 c. apple cider
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 cube or tsp. chicken bouillon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. apple cider
Directions

1In large skillet, brown pork chops in butter.

2Remove and set aside.

3Cook apples and onions in skillet drippings until onion is tender.

4Stir in cider, water, brown sugar, bouillon, salt and pepper.

5Return pork to skillet and simmer, covered, for 30 to 35 minutes, until pork chops are tender.

6Combine cornstarch and apple cider; stir into hot liquid.

7Cook until mixture thickens. Serve with rice.

8Serves 6.
