Ingredients

  • 3/4 ounce sweet vermouth
  • Ice
  • 1 1/2 ounces apple brandy, preferably bonded
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce Benedictine (brandy-based herbal liqueur)
  • 1/2 ounce Cherry Heering or other cherry liqueur
  • 1 1/2 ounces chilled ginger beer
  • 1 brandied cherry
  • 1/4 orange wheel

Directions

    Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

    Add all of the remaining ingredients except the ginger beer, cherry and orange wheel and shake well.

    Strain into an ice-filled collins glass.

    Stir in the ginger beer.

    Skewer the brandied cherry and the orange wheel on a pick and garnish the drink.
