Ingredients
- 1 to 2 lb. stew beef
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 c. water
- 2 c. diced carrots
- 1/4 c. uncooked macaroni
- 1 can whole kernel corn
- cooked vegetables to taste
Directions

1Brown stew beef in fat.

2Add salt, pepper, chopped onion, tomatoes, water and bay leaf.

3Bring to a boil and simmer 1 1/2 hours.

4Add carrots and macaroni.

5Simmer 30 minutes, then add corn and any cooked vegetables you desire.

6Do not drain vegetables; juices are used in broth.
