Ingredients

  • 2 lb. frozen hash browns, thawed
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 2 Tbsp. onion
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1 can cream of celery or cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. bacon pieces
  • sprinkle of parsley
  • 1 c. cornflakes or cracker crumbs
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Mix all ingredients, except cornflake crumbs and some cheese. Place in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Sprinkle with reserved cheese and crumbs.

    Bake at 350° for 40 to 60 minutes, uncovered.
