Hash Brown Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. frozen hash browns
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp. onion salt
  • dash of garlic powder
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 1/2 c. diced ham (optional)
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes

Directions

    Melt butter. Cool slightly.

    Mix with sour cream, Cheddar cheese, soups, ham, hash browns and seasonings.

    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan.

    Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

    In frypan, melt 1/2 stick butter.

    Mix with 1 1/2 cups croutons and stir until brown. Spread over potatoes.

    Bake another 10 to 15 minutes.
