- 1 stick margarine
- 1 (32 oz.) bag frozen hash browns, thawed
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 c. sour cream
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 2 c. corn flake crumbs
Directions

1Melt 1 stick margarine in a 9 x 13-inch casserole dish.

2Put hash browns over melted margarine.

3(Lightly salt hash browns, if desired.)

4Mix together soup, sour cream, cheese, onion, salt and pepper.

5Spread over hash browns.

6Melt 1/2 stick margarine and combine with corn flake crumbs.

7Sprinkle over casserole.

8Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

9Let set 15 minutes before serving.
