  • 1 (20 ounce) package o'brien frozen potatoes, shredded hash brown potatoes, with peppers and onions (O'brien style)
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 14-13 cup milk
  • 1 12 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • pepper, to taste
  • French-fried onions, crushed, for topping (optional)

Directions

    Thaw potatoes.

    Preheat oven to 375F.

    Mix all ingredients, except for french-fried onions, and pour into a 9x9 inch dish.

    Bake, covered, for 30 minutes, and uncovered for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Top with french-fried onions and bake for about 5 more minutes, until onions are crispy and slightly browned.
