- 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 c. crushed corn flakes
- 1/4 c. melted butter
Directions

1Defrost potatoes and combine in large bowl with 1/2 cup melted butter.

2Season with salt and pepper.

3Add chopped onions, soup, sour cream and cheese.

4Blend thoroughly.

5Pour into 3-quart casserole.

6Cover with 1/4 cup melted butter mixed with corn flakes.

7Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.

8Can be fixed ahead and refrigerated overnight before baking.
