  • 1/2 lb. (8 oz.) VELVEETA, cut up
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, divided
  • 1 can (10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pkg. (32 oz.) frozen hash browns
  • corn flakes

Directions

    Heat oven to 350F.

    Melt VELVEETA, 1 stick of the butter and soup in saucepan on low heat.

    Mix well.

    Put hash browns in 13x9-inch baking pan.

    Pour VELVEETA mixture over potatoes.

    Crush corn flakes into small pieces.

    Melt remaining stick of butter.

    Mix butter and crushed corn flakes.

    Spread corn flake mixture on top of potatoes.

    Bake 40 to 45 minutes.

    (Crushed potato chips can be used in place of corn flakes.)
