  • 2 lb. frozen shredded hash browns
  • 1/2 cup margarine or butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 8 oz. grated Colby or cheddar cheese

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Spray a 9x13 inch baking pan with cooking spray.

    Combine soup, butter, salt, pepper, onion and cheese.

    Gently mix in the hash browns (still frozen) and pour into pan.

    Bake for 35- 40 minutes,

    or until browned and bubbling around the edges.
