- 2 lb. frozen hash browns
- 1/3c. unsalted butter, melted
- 2 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 10oz. can cream of chicken soup
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
- 3/4 tsp. black pepper
- Topping:
- 1 1/2 cups of crushed corn flakes
- 1/4c. unsalted butter (cut into 8 pieces)
Directions

1Mix all ingredients (except the corn flakes and squares of butter) and spread evenly in a 9 x 13 glass baking dish. Spread the corn flakes on top and distribute the butter evenly over them.

2Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
