  • 2 lb. frozen hash browns
  • 1/3c. unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 10oz. can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 3/4 tsp. black pepper
  • Topping:
  • 1 1/2 cups of crushed corn flakes
  • 1/4c. unsalted butter (cut into 8 pieces)

Directions

    Mix all ingredients (except the corn flakes and squares of butter) and spread evenly in a 9 x 13 glass baking dish. Spread the corn flakes on top and distribute the butter evenly over them.

    Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
