  • 1 pkg. yellow or white cake mix
  • 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1 (9 oz.) frozen whipped topping (defrosted)
  • 1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 c. cold milk
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1/2 c. coconut
  • 1/2 c. halved maraschino cherries

Directions

    Prepare cake mix according to directions.

    Bake in a greased 15 x 11-inch jelly roll pan for 15 minutes at 350°.

    Combine pudding mix with cold milk.

    Beat in cream cheese.

    Fold in by hand the defrosted frozen topping.

    Spread this pudding mixture onto the cake.

    Drain the pineapple and sprinkle it over the pudding.

    Top with cherries, coconut and nuts.

    Keep in refrigerator until ready to serve.
