Ingredients

  • 2 c. broccoli (fresh, or 1 box frozen)
  • 2 c. diced, cooked chicken or turkey
  • 1 (15 1/4 oz.) can pineapple (chunks or crushed) and juice
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
  • chow mein noodles
  • 1 or 2 Tbsp. sugar (if desired)

Directions

    Steam or stir-fry broccoli.

    Make a sauce of water, vinegar, soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar and seasonings and add pineapple, chicken and broccoli.

    Heat and serve over chow mein noodles or cooked rice.
