  • 1 chicken, cut in serving pieces
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 1 large can pineapple spears
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, mashed
  • 1/2 tsp. m.s.g. (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger

Directions

    Arrange chicken, skin side down, in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Cover with pineapple spears.

    Mix rest of ingredients and pour over chicken. Bake at 350° to 375° for 1 hour.

    Turn chicken once while baking.
