Ingredients

  • 1 lb. mild or hot pork sausage
  • 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 pkg. dry Lipton noodle soup with chicken broth
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 5 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. blanched almonds (optional)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 c. celery, chopped

Directions

    Fry sausage and drain. Add pepper, onion, celery and other ingredients.

    Mix well.

    Bake in shallow pan at 375° for 50 to 60 minutes, uncovered. Freezes well before baking.
