Hazelnut Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hazelnuts (equals 2 c. nut meats put through food chopper, fine)
  • 1 lb. margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cream butter or margarine and sugar.

    Stir in nuts, flour and salt.

    Roll in small balls and flatten slightly.

    Bake 25 minutes in a 325° oven.

    Take from cookie sheet while hot and roll in granulated sugar.

    Makes 10 dozen.
