Hazelnut Tiramisu

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp instant coffee granules
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/3 cup hazelnut-flavored liqueur
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 container (8 oz) mascarpone cheese
  • 12 None ladyfingers
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped roasted hazelnuts
  • 1 oz semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely grated

    Dissolve coffee and half the sugar in 2/3 cup boiling water in medium bowl. Stir in liqueur; cool.

    Meanwhile, beat cream and remaining sugar in medium bowl with electric mixer until soft peaks form. Fold in mascarpone.

    Dip ladyfingers, one at a time, in coffee mixture. Place in single layer in shallow 2-quart dish. Pour any remaining coffee mixture over ladyfingers.

    Spread cream mixture over ladyfingers. Sprinkle with combined nuts and chocolate. Cover. Refrigerate until required.
