Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 12 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 cups almond milk (or your favorite milk)
  • 1 12 cups macaroni
  • 1 tablespoon arrowroot (or corn starch)
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon evaporated cane juice (or sugar)
  • 12 teaspoon paprika
  • 12 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

    In a large skillet brown the meat with the onion, bell pepper and celery.

    Drain off the fat.

    Add hot water and milk to the meat in the skillet.

    Mix the seasoning in a ziploc bag.

    Add the macaroni to the skillet.

    Add the seasonings to the skillet.

    Bring to a boil, cover and simmer on low for 12 - 20 minutes, until the macaroni is tender.

    When the noodles are tender, add the cheese, stir and cover for a minute or two until the cheese is melted.

    Remove from heat and let stand until it is to the sauciness/thickness you prefer.
