Healthy "Fried" Bananas

  • 1 banana medium size very ripe
  • 1/4 cup Bran Flakes Cereal
  • 1/2 cup vanilla ice cream

Directions

    Preheat a small skillet over medium heat.

    Grind cereal in a food processor or blender to make fine crumbs and then pour into small bowl.

    Slice banana in half width wise and then again length wise to make 4 pieces.

    Roll each slice of banana in the cereal making sure to coat each side. Press the cereal lightly into the banana to ensure it sticks.

    Place the banana slices in the skillet and cook for 2 minutes. Flip over and cook another two minutes on the other side.

    Remove from skillet and top with vanilla ice cream.
