  • 1/2 pounds Whole Wheat Pasta
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • 1- 1/2 cup Frozen Veggies (we Like Broccoli Best)
  • 1/4 cups Wheat Germ
  • 1/2 cups Parmesan Cheese, Shredded
  • 1/2 pounds Chicken Breast, Cooked And Cut Into Pieces (optional)

Directions

    Cook pasta.

    In a small pan melt butter over medium heat.

    Add flour and cook until a paste forms (about 1 min), stirring constantly.

    Slowly add milk, stirring briskly.

    Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly and cook until sauce thickens.

    In a large bowl, combine sauce with cheeses.

    Add cooked pasta and veggies to cheese sauce.

    Add chicken, if desired.

    Pour into casserole dish.

    In a small bowl combine Parmesan cheese and wheat germ.

    Sprinkle over pasta.

    Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
