- 2 lemons, cut into wedges
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 6 bay leaves
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Squeeze lemon juice into large pot of cold water.

2Add lemon wedges, artichokes, onion, bay leaves and salt and pepper.

3Allow to come to a boil, then cook at a simmer until artichokes are tender.
