  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • melted Hershey bar or chocolate chips
  • chopped nuts or colored sprinkles

    Cream butter and brown sugar.

    Add egg yolk, vanilla and flour.

    Mix well.

    Spread on ungreased cookie sheet.

    Bake at 350° for 15 minutes.

    When slightly cool, spread with melted chocolate and sprinkle with nuts or colored sprinkles.

    Cut into squares while still warm.
