- 1 large head cabbage
- 5 to 6 large Irish potatoes, peeled and diced
- 5 to 6 Polish or Rogerwood sausage, diced
- cooking oil
- salt
- pepper
- water
Directions

1Wash cabbage and cut up; set aside.

2Fry sausage in heavy pot or large skillet.

3Add cabbage and 1 glass water.

4Stir and cook until cabbage is almost done; add potatoes.

5Cook until potatoes tender (salt and pepper to taste when you add the cabbage to sausage).

6Stir often, scraping drippings from bottom of pot. This makes cabbage and potatoes brown.

7Add a little water at a time as needed to loosen crust from bottom of pot.
