5Pierce cheese with a long handled fork, such as the one you use for barbequing.

6Hold cheese over the flames, close enough so it gets soft on the outside, but not so close as to burn it.

7As the cheese softens on the edges, scrape those edges off with your hunting knife (other kinds of knives will work too) and serve on the bread and apple slices.
