- 1/2 to 3/4 c. cold water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Directions

1Set aside egg whites.

2In cold water, stir in sugar and cornstarch until cornstarch is dissolved.

3Cook on the stove until soft boil stage.

4Set aside.

5Beat egg whites and cream of tartar. Slowly add syrup mixture; beat until fluffy.

6Spread over pies, puddings or cake.
