Ingredients
- 1 cup warm nonfat milk (70-80 degrees)
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons butter, divided
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 14 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons caraway seeds
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
- 1 12 teaspoons minced dried onion
- 1 teaspoon rubbed sage
- 14 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 cups bread flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 12 teaspoons active dry yeast
Directions

1Put all of the ingredients into a bread machine (put in order that the bread machine tells you to).

2Let it mix for 5 minute and if wet add 1-2 T. flour, and if dry add 1 -2 T. water.

3When the cycle is done pour on to floured counter and punch down.

4Form into a loaf, place in pan, and let rise until doubled -- 45 minute or so.

5Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.

6Cool on wire rack, and brush with remaining (1 T.) butter.
