- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. fresh or dried sage
- 1 1/2 c. beer
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Grease and flour a large loaf pan.

3In a medium bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients.

4Stir in beer and cheese and blend together well.

5Spread mixture evenly into prepared pan.

6Bake approximately 50 to 55 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool.
