Ingredients

  • 4 oz. self-rising flour
  • 2 oz. suet or margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. mixed herbs
  • salt and pepper
  • a little cold water

Directions

    Mix flour with suet or margarine, herbs and seasoning.

    Add sufficient cold water to make a stiff dough.

    Roll into balls. Cook at 375° for 15 minutes.

    Makes about 8 small dumplings. Dumplings are great with corned beef and cabbage.
