  • 1 medium onion, chopped fine
  • 1 c. rice
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 tsp. basil and marjoram
  • 1/4 tsp. each: thyme and curry
  • 1/2 tsp. sage
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. chicken broth

    Saute rice and onion in butter for 5 minutes.

    Add all remaining ingredients and heat to boiling.

    Cover and cook slowly for 30 minutes or until rice is tender.
