- 3 c. water
- 3 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 egg
- 9 c. flour
- 6 tbsp. sugar
- 3 teaspoon salt
- 9 tbsp. shortening
- 1 tbsp. basil
- 1 tbsp. oregano
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 3 c. shredded cheese
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in hot water.

2Let stand a few min.

3Blend in egg, shortening, sugar, salt and 1/2 of flour.

4Beat well.

5Add in flour and mix well.

6Then add in herbs, onion and cheese.

7Cover, let rise till double.

8Punch down and put in greased muffin tins.

9Let rise.
-
10Add in more flour for thicker dough if you desire.

11Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 min.
