Herbed Baked Scallops

- 1 lb sea scallops or 1 lb frozen scallops, thawed
- 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine (I use more)
- 2 tablespoons chopped Italian parsley or 2 tablespoons cilantro
- 1 tablespoon dried basil, crushed
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Arrange scallops in shallow baking dish.

2Dot with butter.

3Sprinkle on herbs plus salt and pepper to taste.

4Bake at 350 F for 5 minutes.

5Stir to coat scallops with butter mixture.

6Bake another 20 minutes or until tender (a little less time probably).
