  • 1 lb baby carrots
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp dill; minced
  • 1 tsp thyme; minced
  • 1/2 bunch parsley; minced
  • 1 pinch sugar
  • 1 1/2 shallot; minced

Directions

    Cover carrots with cold water.

    Add a pinch of sugar.

    Boil until carrots brighten in color.

    Drain.

    Heat butter over medium heat until nearly browned.

    Sweat on medium-low heat until caramelized.
