  • 2 tablespoons warm water
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 12 cup sugar
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 8 cardamom pods (crushed)
  • 12 orange, rind of (grated)
  • 12 lemon, rind of (grated)
  • 14 cup raisins
  • 14 cup almonds (chopped)
  • 12 cup evaporated milk
  • 12 cup butter (melted)
  • 2 12-3 cups flour
  • sugar (as needed)

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in water.

    Stir in the milk and flour.

    Cover.

    Let stand 1 hour.

    Beat together the eggs and sugar until smooth.

    Stir in the salt, cardamom, rinds, raisins, almonds, milk and butter.
