- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 c. olive oil or more if needed
- 6 Tbsp. chopped fresh thyme or 2 Tbsp. dried thyme
- 2 tsp. finely chopped garlic
- fresh thyme sprigs
- 2 lb. fresh linguine
- 4 tsp. grated lemon peel
- 4 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- salt and fresh pepper to taste
Directions

1Bring 8-quarts water to boil; add 2 tablespoons salt and linguine.

2Cook until pasta is al dente, tender but still firm to the bite.

3(Fresh pasta will cook quickly in 2 to 3 minutes, dried pasta will take about 10 minutes.)

4Drain and transfer to large bowl.

5Toss with 1/2 cup olive oil.
