Herbed Pork Chops

  • 4 large pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 1 tsp. rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp. sage
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine

Directions

    Mix rosemary, sage, garlic, salt and pepper in small bowl. Rub mixture over pork chops.

    Place chops in large, greased skillet.

    Add water and cover.

    Simmer until all water has evaporated, about 45 minutes.

    Remove cover and brown chops in their own fat.

    Add wine and cook about one minute, turning chops occasionally.

    Allow to cook until wine is almost evaporated.
