- 4 large pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
- 1 tsp. rosemary
- 1/2 tsp. sage
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 c. dry white wine
Directions

1Mix rosemary, sage, garlic, salt and pepper in small bowl. Rub mixture over pork chops.

2Place chops in large, greased skillet.

3Add water and cover.

4Simmer until all water has evaporated, about 45 minutes.

5Remove cover and brown chops in their own fat.

6Add wine and cook about one minute, turning chops occasionally.

7Allow to cook until wine is almost evaporated.
