  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped onions
  • 1 c. rice
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 tsp. McKay's chicken style seasoning
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Heat butter in heavy saucepan.

    Add onions and cook until soft.

    Add rice and stir.

    Add water, seasoning, bay leaf, thyme, salt and pepper.

    Boil.

    Cover and let simmer for 20 minutes.
