- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. chopped onions
- 1 c. rice
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. McKay's chicken style seasoning
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp. thyme
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Heat butter in heavy saucepan.

2Add onions and cook until soft.

3Add rice and stir.

4Add water, seasoning, bay leaf, thyme, salt and pepper.

5Boil.

6Cover and let simmer for 20 minutes.
