  • 1 (18 oz.) can whole tomatoes, drained
  • 1 1/4 c. chicken and herb flavored stuffing mix, divided
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. rosemary
  • 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Directions

    Cut tomatoes in quarters, reserving juice that accumulates. Combine tomatoes, reserved juice, 1 cup stuffing mix, onion, sugar, salt, oregano and rosemary. Mix well. Pour into greased 1-quart casserole.

    Sprinkle with one-fourth cup stuffing mix and dot with butter or margarine.

    Bake at 375° for 45 minutes. Serves 3 to 4.
