  • 1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Combine dry ingredients; add to mixture.

    Pour syrup into mixture; mix until smooth.
  5. 5
    Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes in oblong pan. Prepare icing 5 minutes before cake is done; pour hot icing over hot cake.
