- 1 -2 fresh hibiscus flowers
- boiling water, to taste
- sugar, to taste
- 1 limes or 1 lemon
Directions

1Remove the stamen from each flower.

2Use pesticide-free flowers.

3Place one hibiscus flower in a glass or mug and cover with boiling water.

4Allow this to steep.

5The water will turn a black-purple colour but that's okay.

6Stir and then remove.

7Add sugar to tste and then give it a good stir so that the sugar dissolves.

8Now squeeze the juice from some lemon or lime.

9The tea should turn a pretty pinky-red!

10Either drink it hot or set aside to cool and later serve with ice.
