  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 c. cake flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/8 tsp. salt

Directions

    Cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy.

    Sift flour with baking powder; add alternately with milk to sugar mixture. Add nuts and vanilla.

    Beat egg whites with salt.
