- 2 lb. hamburger, seasoned with salt and pepper, etc. as desired
- Idaho potato strips, cut as for French fries
- sliced carrots
- ring of bell pepper
- 1 slice onion
- generous pat of butter
Directions

1Make 6 large hamburger patties, oval in shape.

2Place each patty on a large square of aluminum foil.

3Add a layer of potato strips.

4Season.

5On top of this, place a layer of sliced carrots. Season.

6Add a ring of bell pepper and 1 slice of onion.

7Season and top with a generous pat of butter.

8Fold foil up and seal tightly, making 6 separate servings.

9Bake for 1 hour at 275° or 300°.

10Serve with garlic bread and green salad.
