  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 1 (7 oz.) box macaroni
  • 1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
  • 1 (10 oz.) can mushroom soup
  • 1 can French fried onions
  • 1/3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
  • Pam spray

Directions

    Spray 3-quart casserole with Pam.

    Cook macaroni according to package instructions.

    Brown ground meat and drain after cooking. Combine mushroom soup, chopped tomatoes with juice, browned meat, cheese, green pepper and drained macaroni.

    Pour half of mixture in casserole and put 1/2 can of French fried onions, then add the remainder of mixture and place in 350° oven and cover.

    Bake for 30 minutes; add the rest of the French fried onions and bake for additional 5 minutes.

    Serves 4 to 6 people.
