- 1/4 c. butter or oleo
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1/2 lb. miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 lb. graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
- 1/2 lb. candied cherries, chopped
- 1 1/2 lb. chopped nuts
- 1 c. flaked coconut
- 1/2 lb. light raisins
Directions

1Peel onions and slice round.

2Sprinkle salt on each slice. Place in containers in layers; cover with sweet milk.

3Let soak for 2 or 3 hours.

4Drain off milk; dip each slice in flour and drop in hot fat.

5Have fat deep enough to cover slices and don't fry too fast.

6Handle carefully so as not to tear them up.
