  • 1 (8 ounce.) soft cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 Large eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/2 pound butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/4 c. cake flour
  • 1 c. candied dry fruit
  • 1/2 c. minced pecans

Directions

    Thoroughly blend cream cheese, butter, sugar, vanilla.

    Add in Large eggs one at a time mixing well after each.

    Gradually add in 2 c. of flour sifted with baking pwdr.

    Combine 1/4 c. flour with the fruit and nuts.

    Fold into batter.

    Grease a 10 inch tube pan or possibly bundt pan.

    Bake 325 degrees for 1 hour 20 min or possibly till it tests done.

    Dry fruits you can use - pineapple, apricots, prunes or possibly dates.

    You may use 1 1/2 c. if desired more fruit.
