- 1 1/2 lb. candied cherries (halves)
- 1 1/2 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
- 1 lb. butter
- 2 c. plain flour
- 5 eggs
- 4 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. black walnut extract
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar.

2Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.

3Add extract and beat well.

4Put fruit and nuts in large bowls.

5Pour batter in and mix well.

6Pour into 2 large greased and floured loaf pans.

7Bake at 250° to 275° for 2 1/2 hours or until tested done.
