  • 2 1/2 cups flour Sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 2 2/3 cups mincemeat 28 oz = 2-2/3 cp
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk Eagle Brand
  • 2 cups candied fruit Mixed, a 1-lb jar equals 2 cups
  • 1 cup walnuts chopped

Directions

    Butter a spring form or 9-inch tube pan, line with waxed paper, butter again.

    Sift flour & soda.

    Combine eggs, mincemeat, milk, fruit & nuts.

    Fold in dry ingredients.

    Pour into pan.

    Bake in slow (300 degree) oven for 2 hours or until center springs back when touched & top is golden.

    Cool.

    Turn out, remove paper.
