- 1 goose
- tart apples, chopped
- 1 onion
- celery tops
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. thyme
- 1/8 tsp. parsley
- 1/2 pt. dry red wine
Directions

1Rub goose inside with salt and pepper.

2Fill cavity with raw tart apples, onion and celery tops.

3Truss bird.

4Place in foil and add melted butter, paprika, salt, pepper, thyme parsley and wine.

5Completely cover with foil.

6Roast in 350° oven; baste often.

7When done, remove foil from top and brown.

8Remove stuffing and discard before serving.
