Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 margarine, softened
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 (9 oz.) pkg. None Such condensed mincemeat, crumbled
  • 3/4 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Combine dry ingredients.

    In large bowl, beat margarine and sugar until fluffy.

    Beat in eggs.

    Add milk and flour mixture, alternately mixing well.

    Stir in mincemeat and nuts.

    Pour into greased and floured loaf pan.

    Bake 1 hour and 25 minutes or until test for doneness.

    Cool 10 minutes.

    Remove from pan.
