  • 3 dozen eggs
  • 1 34-2 cups sugar
  • 12 gallon milk, plus
  • 1 quart milk
  • 3 pints whipping cream
  • Bourbon
  • nutmeg

Directions

    Separate eggs.

    Beat egg whites till almost stiff.

    Gradually add 2 cups of sugar (or less), beating until stiff.

    Beat egg yolks.

    Add yolks to whites & mix.

    Add milk to eggs & mix.

    Add cream & mix.

    Add bourbon to taste.

    Sprinkle with nutmeg.

    Can be topped with additional whipped cream if desired.
