- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. orange juice
- 1/4 c. melted butter/margarine
- salt to taste
- 4 or 5 medium yams or sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced
Directions

1Combine sugars and cornstarch; blend well.

2Stir in orange juice, butter and salt.

3Simmer over low heat, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.

4Place yams in a lightly greased 2-quart casserole dish.

5Add orange sauce.

6Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Yields 6 servings.
